The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Program recently announced they would begin accepting applications from all citizens to build homes in the City of New Philadelphia. As a result, city leaders have teamed up with the USDA and the Tuscarawas County Economic Development Corporation (TCEDC) to find locations to construct new houses.

Since our meetings with the Ohio Manufacturers Association and with local manufacturing companies, many companies have expressed interest in playing a role in our Industry Sector Partnership. That list of companies continues to evolve.
For us to get an updated email list of contacts interested in these meetings, we’re asking companies to provide the following information.
This survey is designed for local manufacturers to provide feedback to the Tuscarawas Valley Industry Sector Partnership regarding their needs for maintenance employees. We are working with local educators to form a localized program to find and address our local manufacturers' most common needs. Please forward this survey to the head of your maintenance for feedback.

We understand the growing need for reliable internet access. Whether remote learning, virtual doctor visits, or work-from-home opportunities, every home, business, and farm should have reliable internet access to handle multiple devices' demands. Due to previous surveys and resident input, it is evident that not every Tuscarawas County resident, business, and farmer has reliable broadband internet accessibility. We have finished a comprehensive strategy to bring better internet speeds to areas of Tuscarawas County that need it the most. As we continue implementing this strategy, we want your ongoing feedback.
